The staff was the friendliest I've ever experienced in any hotel. The room was a little on the small side, but we only got their basic room. Your paying a little bit less than you would for most of the other hotels around the area. There's a 'wine theme' with this hotel so this is great for wine lovers. Complimentary wine tasting in the lounge every day. This isn't your ordinary "Executive Hotel", as this is this is more of a "boutique" type of hotel. Nice thing is that it's kind of private. Not clustered with all the other hotels right in the centre of downtown. Location's perfect as it's a 2 minute drive to Granville Island! Service was excellent. Always going for above and beyond, going the extra mile to please the customer. How every hotel should be! I'll definitely be coming back!

This is a smaller, nicely appointed hotel near Granville Island, a very appealing community with shops, restaurants and a wonderful market. Our stay included breakfast for two--more precisely, a $30. voucher for breakfast, which was excellent. The room was very nice. Nice bed, nice TV, nice bath. The wine tasting wasn't as grand as you might imagine, but it was better than no wine tasting.

This hotel is only a block or so from Hertz car rental, one of the few companies that will allow you to rent a car in Vancouver and deposit it in the USA, which is what we did. Several companies have offices only at the airport, so this location was a big plus for us.

Elegant Decor, Very well received and greeted, Expectations Met Only disappointment was the late check in - not until 3pm while checkout no later than noon unless medical emergency per front desk staff

This hotel was a great bargain (at least by Vancouver standards). The staff was welcoming and helpful, in particular bellman Jaron and concierge Albert, both of whom assisted us in lining up tours--which were excellent. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom large and well stocked with quality toiletries. Breakfast (full) was included in our package and the offerings were quite complete and of high quality. The only negative was that on the second day of our two day stay, the water temperature in the shower was highly erratic, going from cold to hot in an instant, requiring a lot of agility to keep from getting frozen or burned. We reported this to the desk at checkout and the attendant said they would "look into it" and IF it got to the manager, it probably did get attention. Overall, we would certainly recommend this hotel.
