The room is quite small, with the bathroom connected to the bedroom and the sink in the bedroom. Otherwise the bed is comfortable and the TV worked fine. I saw a lot of backpackers frequenting the hotel. It was a good value for the money. They do have valet parking for those of you who drive a car.

Had a great stay this past weekend at the Stratford. The hotel room was a little small, but for my wife and I it was perfect.

Safe area, cable car stop out front, great shopping, dining and a free breakfast to boot!

Would recommend and stay again!

Great location. If you don't plan to spend any time in the room, it probably will be fine for you. Room is cramped. Bathroom very small. Very basic accomodations. Parking is valet only and expensive.

I would not recommend this hotel. The room was super small and lacked basic amenities. The elevators were ridiculously slow. The first encounter I had with the front desk (over the phone) was unpleasant and not as helpful as it could be. The continental breakfast was sad. There was no air conditioning available. It is insulting to require payment for basic internet access.

The good parts: Front desk was better in person. They offered a fan immediately to compensate for no air conditioning (during Sept in SF). They were helpful in getting us shuttle service for airport. RUSK products are really good.

We all loved the Hotel Stratford, The staff were friendly and
very helpfull.
The standard of the hotel were good, clean and nice, but the rooms and specially the beds a little too small for my size, my feet were sticking out, and I'm only 183 cm.
I would recommend the hotel and would stay in the same hotel the next time in San Francisco.
