I would recommend it to others. It was in a nice location, clean and spacious. Within short walking distance to Ghiradelli Square, the Warf, the Marina and the crooked part of Lombard St. I think it suits families and older travelers. Younger travelers might be more suited in the downtown area. It was a good value for the money. Breakfast was typical.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel, separated by a period of about 4-5 years & we enjoyed it very much. The staff was very friendly, courteous & helpful - Boy Scouts all! The room was quite adequate; a little small for the 4 of us (wife & 2 adult sons), but it was our choice not to opt for 2 rooms. Our view wasn't great & we didn't feel inclined to spring for the "bridge view" rooms, but it was quiet and clean. The continental breakfast was adequate, but it would have been nice to have had more variety and day-to-day change of selections. The location is excellent, particularly if the wharf/Presidio/Goden Gate area is what interests you, but Van Ness has excellent bus connections, which we used to get to all parts of the City. Excellent value for the money. We'll come back!

I would recommend this hotel to others. The beds were extremely comfortable. However, we could here the guests above us jumping around quite a bit. Also, the parking garage was a little hard to navigate. It wasn't too far from the Fisherman's Wharf. Walking distance, but the streets back to it at night are very dark. Overall, it was somewhere I would stay again.

Good value for money. Ideal location. Enjoyed the compimentry breakfast. Disappointed to find we were on a smoking floor having selected a non smoking room. Slightly disappointed that you only get good views from rooms on the higher floors for which you have to pay an upgrade.
