Yes, I'll recommen it.
The heating system disappointed me. It's an old one.
It was a good value for money.
It pass over my expectations.

I would recommend this hotel for the accomodations, we were satisfied with our stay - a great value for the price. It's centrally located and near public transit and restaurants (Tommy's Joynt rocks). The lobby was nice enough... nothing fancy but completely fine.

The rooms were nice and clean - not huge, but for SF the room size was what you'd expect. The water temp during our showers would briefly get hot back to normal. Probably because of the age of the hotel, though this wasn't a problem for us. The elevator was also beat up and a bit slow, but this didn't cause us any trouble.

IHOWEVER, was expecting $10/day parking, but they wanted $20!! We parked our car elsewhere to save a few dollars. This seemed like a sneaky tactic and for this reason I probably wouldn't return to this place. Otherwise a fine place to stay.

Good value, comfortable rooms. You can rent a car at the Enterprise office right next door.

The room was large compared to more modern hotel rooms. Other than spaciousness, though, the room was completely lacking. Window coverings were visibly old and either broken or missing handles. Which I guess didn't matter much for the view onto Van Ness and Geary is pretty bad (ours included a view of the above balcony's crumbling concrete. The couch was stained. It just wasn't a room that beckoned you to rest and relax in between SF outings. However, there is a cheesy bar downstairs (it even has a help yourself popcorn machine) that has attentive staff and offers happy hour well drinks which helps you forget your surroundings.

it was a nice room and the people there were very accomodating. my only problem was that the wall paper was peeling off down around under the window.
