During my stay at the Red Roof Inn Orlando, I was pleasantly surprised. This is a no frills place. You have your room, the pool, and a coffee machine in the lobby. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the sheets were clean, there was no mold or mildew smell from the AC which was completely adjustable. The bathroom was clean, the towels were clean and there were plenty. The carpet was clean. The T-mobile Hotspot Wi-fi worked great. The staff was very nice - the cleaning staff gave me extra tissues when I asked. They gave me one day of complimentary wi-fi. The let us keep our car there for the rest of the day after we checked out. I didn't go to the pool. The coffee was decent. Hopefully I never have to go back to Orlando, but if I do, I'll stay here.

The hotel was of the quality I expected when selecting a Red Roof, but I give very high marks to the staff. They were constantly courteous. The cleaning staff never woke me up, even though I had a very erratic schedule, and my room was always cleaned when I returned. The front desk personal were always very helpful. Although I rated the facility as "acceptable" because it was just your basic room with no amenities, I would recommend it to anyone who is attending an event at the Orange County Convention Center on a budget.
