Hard place to rate. POSITIVES: 1) Great price in a convention city;.2) Clean, surprisingly quiet, room, almost always made up nicely ; 3) Decent comp. breakfast.; 4) Generally friendly, helpful staff, particularly days, AFTER they got to know you. NEGATIVES: 1) Night clerk called a cab/livery service that charged me $12 for what would have been a $6 metered cab. You had to call yourself. for a metered cab. I smelled kickback;. 2) Room had crack in wall, looked like someone had kicked it in; 3) Room was sparse, no alarm clock, etc.; 4) Some sketchy-looking folks at night, outside and in lobby. But that may have been cultural issue for me, and security was visible. SUMMARY: The place grew on me. I wouldn't rush to stay again, but would be OK there, particularly for the price.

For the $50 or so a night it costs to stay here, it's a good hotel. It's no Hilton, but it's an upgrade from a Super 8 or a Red Roof Inn. Safe area, decent rooms, even an eh breakfast. Also a good pool - that was probably its best asset.

The Orlando Continental Plaza was just minutes away from Universal studios and much of the happening places. International drive is very busy and the hotel is situated just off of it. Hotel was older but kept reasonably clean. Staff was pleasant and happy to assist you.
Definitely good value for the money we spent.

The hotel is quite old - and it shows. The sheets and blankets on the beds are worn out, not all the bathrooms have hair dryer, it's humid and dump. I presume if someone has asthma, this hotel is definitely the place to be avoided.
The employees at the reception area are rude and not helpful. The check-in is at 3 pm and they will NOT let you go into the room prior to that time. The good thing is that you don't have to deal with them - other than the check-in and check-out time.
The hotel is across the street from Wet N Wild, and 3 minutes drive to Universal Studio. If you want to go to these parks, don't mind humidity in your room and want to travel cheap - this is the place to go.

It was good value for the money and it met our needs for location. The rooms werr fine but the bathroom needed updating. The quality of the towels was very poor. They were very thin and one had a hold in it. You should supply a better grade of soap and shampoo Breakfast was mediocre. The only real thing offered was make your own waffles (outside of cold cereal)., The line was so long and it took so long to make them that it would have been nice to offer some alternative like muffins or danish
