Formerly Howard Johnson Maingate West, The [hidden] is located only 3.5 miles from Disney's Maingate. Hotel is situated on 15 tropical acres, a perfect location for families to relax after a day at the parks. There are 435 tastefully appointed guest rooms featured at this hotel. The hotel also offers handicap accessible guest rooms upon request, to make all of the valued guests feel closer to home. The hotel staff is courteous and helpful, always catering to the individual needs of the guests. This hotel offers daily scheduled Disney shuttle. i didnt think it was up to par, the room i had had bad tv reception, what i consitered dirty sheets...just smelled used...the poool def was not heated. the shower had bad pressure.
and the smell in the lobby...like baby vomit.
but for 37 bucks....eeh

The customer service and front desk personnel were very polite and helpful. However, upon arrival I was charged a $4/day amenities fee, for what I don't know! The Howard Johnson's was located on a fairly large property, but the only thing I saw was the small in ground pool out my door. (That was nice!)

All in all, it wasn't bad, we mainly were there at night after a long day at the local area theme parks.

Not recommend this to anyone. No coffee maker, and they charged an extra $4/night for a "facility useage"..BS...Did not use their pool but was charged anyway. Place looked run down, and staff was rude and not helpful in anyway. STAY AWAY !!!

I found the staff helpful, the main pool is nice (covered), and the room was fairly clean.

We paid about $40 and they added a $2.50 resort fee. The hotel needs updating, from the lobby to the restaurant to the rooms....all old. Bathroom, while cleaned, was outdated.

If you plan to go to WDW and just sleep, then this hotel - really a motel - is okay. If you are going to other parks or spending time in your room, then find something closer in to Orlando and more updated.

for the price we paid it was nice it was clean maid service everyday 3 nice pools the down side it was just out of town on hwy 192 not walking distance to anything the room were a little out dated and only 7 tv channels to watch. for the price we got the room at i would stay again
